Stop the hate project

UW Law is proud to partner with the Community Response Alliance and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office on a statewide hate incident reporting tool. This tool will collect crucial information about hate incidents in the state. It is designed to raise awareness about the occurrence of hate incidents, particularly during COVID-19, and provide data to the community and potential policy makers.

Community members who experience incidences of hate are asked to complete a web-based form at https://stopthehate.community/ to document their experience.

Please note that this questionnaire is separate and in addition to UW Law’s process for reporting microaggressions and discrimination. UW Law students, faculty and staff should still first report incidents of hate using the process outlined above.

This partnership also includes Gonzaga Law School’s Center for Civil and Human Rights and Seattle University’s Korematsu Center.
