Practicums & Projects
Practicums at UW Law meld the theory of law and the practice of law. These experiential courses combine real-world work with class time focused on doctrine, skills and analysis of what students learn on the job. Under the supervision of experienced practitioners, students work on actual cases or with an organization on legal issues, engaging in hands-on learning while expanding their network. Students build a range of legal skills, write policy memos and draft legal documents on their way to becoming substantive experts in their area of interest.
