The UW Law’s Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Policy (CASRIP) and its Global Business Law Institute invite you to attend the 2020 Global Innovation Law Summit (GILS) webinars.
This year, GILS will explore the relationship between open innovation and intellectual property, including the role of industry standards in innovation and the way companies, universities, NGOs, and governments utilize open innovation. It will also highlight the role of intellectual property in world trade and current trade-related challenges faced in key regions of the world. To frame the trade issues, the 21st Governor of Washington, 10th United States ambassador to China, former United States Secretary of Commerce Mr. Gary Locke will share insights into global trade issues in his opening remarks.
