Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Policy 2022 Global Innovation Law Summit

UW School of Law’s Global Innovation Law Summit was a two-part event held on Friday, July 22 and Friday, July 29 via Zoom.  Part 1 of the 2022 Global Innovation Law Summit reflected on the origins of the UPC and UP and explore the pros and cons of the new European system in comparison with those of the U.S., Germany and the U.K. Part 2 reviewed the past ten years since the establishment of the FITF system and the roles of the PTAB in patent enforcement to examine the necessity of further reform of the U.S. patent system.
