Deans Fund for Excellence in Law

This fund is one of the most critical sources of flexible funds and provides vital support for our most important priorities: providing an inspiring learning environment; supporting accomplished faculty and programs; and undertaking strategic initiatives that further elevate UW Law’s impact and reputation.

Law School Student Support Fund

This fund provides general support to address critical student needs, including housing, course materials, transportation, emergency medical care and more.

General Scholarship Fund

Our general scholarship fund provides much-needed financial support to many law students during their time at UW Law.

Diversity Scholarships

Diversity scholarships to recruit and retain underrepresented students have allowed us to continually increase the diversity of our student body and expand access to legal education.

Public Interest Law Association

The Public Interest Law Association is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting legal work that serves the public and improves the quality of life for individuals around the country. This fund helps law students serve communities nationwide through pro bono summer fellowships.

Experiential Learning

Our experiential learning program provides students with real-world legal experience while assisting clients and communities in need of services. Building on foundational lawyering skills learned in the first year, students work on cases and projects supervised by experienced faculty members.
