Ms. Anna Bakhmetyeva joined the University of Washington School of Law in 2011. As the Assistant Director of the Graduate Program in Intellectual Property Law and Policy (IP LL.M.), she provides academic and career advising, manages the admission process, works on strategic and curriculum planning and finances. Anna provides administrative support to the USPTO Law School Clinic Certification program and Entrepreneurial Law Trademark and Patent Clinics, Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Policy (CASRIP) and works on various grant projects. She is a member of the Seattle IP Inn of Court since 2011. Anna serves as the UW Law School liaison and provides administrative support to the Seattle IP Inn of Court Board and members.  

Ms. Bakhmetyeva graduated from Moscow State Law Academy, Russia, specializing in Civil Law. She worked at the Savings Bank of Russian Federation for twelve years. As the lead legal adviser of the Legal Department, Anna worked with corporate and individual customers practicing Banking, Contract, Corporate law, and Litigation.

In 2011, she received a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Washington School of Law.

Ms. Bakhmetyeva is licensed to practice Russian law as a Foreign Consultant in the State of Washington. She practices Russian IP and Contract Law in Hughes Media Law Group, Seattle.
