John Clynch teaches Evidence and Criminal Law. In the 1990s and early 2000’s, John was a public defender for Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons and The Defender Association. In 2005, John returned to UW School of Law to pursue an LLM in Tax. After working for Deloitte during school and after graduation, John took the position of Staff Attorney for the Low-Income Tax Clinic at the law school. He became Managing Director in 2012. In August of 2021, John handed over the reins of the clinic and is now focused on teaching doctrinal courses.
