23rd Annual Northwest Dispute Resolution Conference
For Thursday-only (March 23) includes all Thursday sessions and the Friday reception at the Burke Museum on the UW Campus. Friday-only (March 24) includes all Friday sessions and the Friday reception. Two-day registration includes all sessions and events. Please note that a portion of the registration fee is used to defray the catering costs.
Please note: printed copies of the conference materials will not be provided. Downloadable course materials for both days of the conference are included in all registration fees. You may download the materials prior to coming to the conference. A USB flash drive that contains all conference materials will be given to you when you check in at the conference.
Downloading of Conference Materials
The materials will be posted in folders for each session and also a zip file that contains all materials. THE MATERIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING BY MARCH 21, 2017. You will receive information how to download the materials by that date.
All conference sessions will be held at William H. Gates Hall, School of Law, University of Washington, Seattle. The Friday Reception will take place in the Burke Museum north of William H. Gates Hall.
Check-in and on-site registration on Thursday begins at 12:00 p.m. Check-in and on-site registration on Friday begins at 8:00 a.m. The conference commences at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. If you have registered for both days, please remember to check in with us during the registration period on both days.
William H. Gates Hall contains a wireless network which enables conference attendees to access the Internet using their personal laptop computers or other mobile devices. We will have a temporary password available for program participants.
Parking is available in the Central Plaza Parking Garage located at the intersection of NE 41st Street and 15th Avenue NE. A campus map can be found at www.washington.edu/maps. Please tell the gate attendant that you have “arranged parking for the Dispute Resolution Conference.” A parking pass will cost $15.00. If you park in the Central Plaza Parking Garage, William H. Gates Hall is located north of the garage. Take the “Kane Hall” exit after you have parked your car, and then walk uphill (north) on Memorial Way NE to the to William H. Gates Hall. William H. Gates Hall will be on your left – 4 story brick building with green glass windows.
If you are driving from the south on I-5 or from Bellevue on the 520 Bridge and exiting at Montlake, turn left at the intersection of Montlake Boulevard & NE Pacific Street. Travel west on NE Pacific Street (the UW Medical Center will be on your left) to 15th Avenue NE and turn right. Travel north on 15th Avenue NE to NE 41st Street. Turn right on NE 41st Street and enter the Central Plaza Parking Garage.
If you exit I-5 northbound or southbound (Exit 169 University of Washington, NE 45th Street) travel east on NE 45th Street. Turn right onto 15th Avenue NE and travel south to NE 41st Street. Turn left on NE 41st Street and enter the Central Plaza Parking Garage.

After this date, rooms will be available on a space-available basis. Please identify yourself as being with the “23rd Annual Northwest Dispute Resolution Conference” when making reservations at this hotel.

This hotel is located in the University Village shopping center area. Silver Cloud Inn offers a shuttle van service to the UW Campus. Reservations for shuttle van use must be made in advance at the front desk.
