UW Community Immigration Workshop
On Friday, Feb 17 at 3:30 p.m., the University of Washington School of Law is hosting “UW Community Immigration Workshop” in the Toni C. Rembe Appellate Courtroom (Room 133) in William H. Gates Hall.
Panel Discussion
The first hour will be a panel discussion and Q&A that reviews Trump’s executive orders, the travel ban, your rights and protections and other changes to immigration policy. Panelists include:
- Angélica Cházaro, Assistant Professor of Law, UW Law
- Susan Larrance, International Scholar Advisor, UW Office of International Scholars Operations
- Christopher Strawn, Director of the Immigration Clinic, UW Law
- Machelle Allman, Assistant Director of International Student Services
- Christine Cimini, Associate Dean for Experiential Education, UW Law (Moderator)
Individual Consultations
At 5 p.m., immigration lawyers will be available for individual consultations to offer confidential, free legal advice to anyone in the UW community who needs it. No registration is required. (Disclaimer: individual consultations will not establish attorney-client relationship.)
