Congratulations to the UW alumni joining the Washington State Bar
UW Law is proud to announce an 86.2% pass rate for alumni taking the Washington State bar exam for the first time in July, according to results released Friday by the Washington State Bar Association.
UW Law had 130 first-time takers, 112 of whom passed.
This rate surpasses the state’s overall pass rate for first-time takers, which the WSBA reported to be 75.9% with 394 successful test-takers out of 519.
First-time UW Law J.D. test-takers had a passage rate of 88.2% with 105 of 119 alumni passing. The state passage rate is 78.7% with 366 of 465 test-takers passing.
