Time Immemorial: the United States at 250
Please join us at the UW School of Law on Sept. 10 and 11, 2026, for our 39th Annual Indian Law Symposium, hosted and presented by the Native American Law Center. We’ll also be streaming the event live if you are unable to attend on-site. We anticipate 10.75 Law & Legal, 1 Ethics, and 1 Equity CLE credit from the Washington State Bar Association for this symposium.
We’re thrilled to welcome you to this year’s program with the theme: "Time Immemorial: The United States at 250." In addition to our annual ethics, litigation, and legislation updates, this year’s program will spotlight timely issues at the intersection of sovereignty, federal power, and water and environmental law. Our keynote speakers will be: Robert Yazzie, Navajo Nation Supreme Court Justice Emeritus, and Justice Raquel Montoya-Lewis, Washington State Supreme Court.
