The Clinical Law Program at the UW School of Law will celebrate its 30th anniversary on February 5 with an all-day continuing legal education course, "Professionalism in Practice: Ethics in Action," featuring clinic faculty and alumni.
To address legal battles over vaccines and whether they lead to autism or other early childhood developmental disorders, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims set up the Office of Special Masters in 1986, informally known as the National Vaccine Court. The Chief Special Master of the court, Gary Golkiewicz, will join a panel of health law faculty from the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital to discuss the role of the national vaccine court Tuesday, December 15 at 4:30 p.m.
