Quynh La, Chair of Alumni Relations Committee, Volume 96
During the Winter 2020 academic quarter, the ARC has continued connecting with alumni to build a stronger alumni network.
The ARC has also been working with other departments and journals on some very exciting collaborations! The Online Team and the ARC hosted WLR's first annual Lane Powell Comment Writing Competition. The Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the ARC created WLR's first K&L Gates Diversity in Scholarship Award. These two committees also joined forces with Seattle University Law Review to co-host a "Better Lawyering Through Mindfulness" workshop with Jeena Cho, the author of The Anxious Lawyer. The ARC also co-hosted a Public Interest Panel alongside the Washington Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and the Washington International Law Journal, which featured journal alumni. Finally, the ARC has been hard at work to help plan WLR’s 2021 Annual Banquet, which will be held virtually for the first time ever!
If you are a WLR alumnus and would like to get involved with WLR, connect with current WLR members and other alumni, or have ideas for future ARC events, please fill out this form or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
